Terms & Conditions for Human Design Readings

These Terms & Conditions apply to Human Design readings and related services provided by Luminsight, Inc. (“Luminsight,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking or participating in a session, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
1. Nature of the Reading
Human Design readings are provided for educational, contemplative, and personal-development purposes. The information shared is intended to offer language, perspectives, and patterns for you to explore and absorb—not instructions that you must follow.
Human Design is an interpretive system and is not scientifically established as a diagnostic or predictive method. No particular result, transformation, or outcome is promised.
Your reading does not override your own discernment. You are encouraged to experiment with the information and ultimately make decisions according to your own inner authority, including your Human Design Strategy and Authority.
2. Not Therapy or Professional Advice
Luminsight, Inc. and its readers are not acting as therapists, psychologists, physicians, attorneys, financial advisors, or other licensed professionals.
A Human Design reading is not:
Mental-health treatment or psychotherapy
Medical, psychiatric, legal, financial, or other professional advice
A diagnosis of any physical or psychological condition
A replacement for care from an appropriately licensed professional
If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health concern, crisis, or emergency, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service.
3. Client Responsibility
You remain fully responsible for your choices, actions, relationships, health, finances, career decisions, and personal wellbeing before, during, and after the session.
You agree to use your own judgment when considering information shared during the reading. Luminsight, Inc. is not responsible for decisions or actions taken based upon your interpretation or application of the session.
4. Accuracy of Birth Information
Human Design charts depend upon the birth date, birth time, and birth location supplied by the client. You are responsible for providing information that is as accurate as possible.
Luminsight, Inc. is not responsible for inaccuracies in a chart or reading resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or uncertain birth information.
5. Adults Only
Human Design readings are currently available only to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old. Luminsight, Inc. is not currently providing readings for children or interpreting a child’s chart through a parent or guardian.
6. Payment and Booking
Payment is due at the time of booking unless another arrangement has been agreed to in writing. Your appointment is not confirmed until payment and any required intake information have been received.
Prices and services may change, but changes will not affect a session that has already been confirmed and paid for.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment by providing at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled session.
Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice are eligible for a refund or rescheduling. Payment-processing fees may be deducted from a refund when those fees are not returned to Luminsight, Inc.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments are generally nonrefundable. Luminsight, Inc. may allow a one-time rescheduling at its discretion when unexpected circumstances arise.
If Luminsight, Inc. must cancel or reschedule your session, you may choose a new appointment time or receive a full refund.
8. Late Arrival
If you arrive late, the session may still end at its originally scheduled time. Additional time cannot always be provided. Arriving late does not entitle you to a partial refund.
9. Session Recordings
Sessions may be audio or video recorded so that the recording can be provided to you and preserved as part of the service.
Recordings are treated as private and will not be published, publicly shared, sold, or provided to another person without your prior written permission, except when disclosure is required by law.
Recordings may be stored or processed through technology providers reasonably necessary to conduct, record, transcribe, store, or deliver the session. While Luminsight, Inc. takes reasonable measures to protect your information, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your recording is provided for your personal use. You may not sell, publish, distribute, or use the recording or substantial portions of it for commercial purposes without written permission from Luminsight, Inc.
10. Testimonials
Luminsight, Inc. may identify statements or feedback that could be suitable for a testimonial, but your words, identity, image, audio, video, or session excerpts will not be used publicly as a testimonial without your prior permission.
Permission to use a testimonial will be requested separately. You may decline without affecting your relationship with Luminsight, Inc. Any approved testimonial will be used only within the scope of the permission you provide.
11. Confidentiality
Information shared during your session will be treated with care and reasonable confidentiality. However, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed when disclosure is required by law, necessary to protect someone from an immediate risk of serious harm, or necessary to address suspected fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity.
A Human Design reading does not create the legally protected confidentiality that may exist between a client and a licensed therapist, attorney, physician, or other regulated professional.
12. Intellectual Property
Any original frameworks, written materials, presentations, exercises, graphics, reports, or other resources created by Luminsight, Inc. remain the intellectual property of Luminsight, Inc. unless otherwise stated in writing.
You may use materials provided to you for your own personal learning and reflection. You may not reproduce, teach, publish, sell, distribute, or commercially use those materials without written permission.
13. Technology and Interruptions
Online sessions depend upon internet access and third-party technology. Luminsight, Inc. is not responsible for interruptions outside its reasonable control.
If a significant technical issue prevents the session from being meaningfully completed, Luminsight, Inc. will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or complete the remaining time.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luminsight, Inc. and its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, emotional, financial, professional, or other damages arising from participation in a reading or reliance upon information shared during a session.
If Luminsight, Inc. is found liable for any claim related to a service, its total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to that claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action arising from these terms or the services provided must be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in Rhode Island.
16. Changes to These Terms
Luminsight, Inc. may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. The version in effect when you book your session will apply to that booking.
17. Agreement
By booking, purchasing, or participating in a Human Design reading, you confirm that:
You are at least eighteen years old.
You have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
You understand that the reading is educational and contemplative rather than therapeutic or diagnostic.
You consent to the session being recorded as described above.
You remain responsible for your own decisions and application of the information.
