Samantha “Sam” Sanford is a Human Design Reader, writer, and lifelong student of what it means to be human. Based in Exeter, Rhode Island, she brings a background in user experience design to her work exploring self-understanding, relationships, and spiritual growth.
Sam has always been drawn to patterns: how things connect, why something feels difficult, and what becomes possible when we see it differently.
For years, she explored those questions through technology and design. Today, she explores them through Human Design, contemplative practice, and the everyday experience of being a person.

Working in UX taught Sam to look beneath the surface—to question assumptions, notice friction, and understand how people experience the world.
Eventually, those questions became personal.
What happens when the way someone has built their life no longer fits?
How can they hear themselves beneath everything they’ve been taught they should be?
Luminsight grew from that exploration. Through her work, Sam brings systems thinking into conversation with spirituality, leaving room for both careful investigation and mystery.

She approaches Human Design as a framework for exploring individual patterns, energy, and relationships. Her readings offer a space to explore a person’s chart alongside their actual experience, connecting abstract concepts with everyday life.
Her intention is to offer language for what people recognize in themselves—and space to question what they don’t.
Sam is a mother, wife, Reiki II practitioner, and yoga teacher in training. Her spiritual life is rooted in Christianity and contemplative inquiry, alongside an ongoing study of Human Design, Gene Keys, and other wisdom traditions.
